Sorry for the adventure game related stress. You're usually best off making a post and planning to check back a while later. And feel free to reply to the same posts you made earlier rather than start a new thread.

In order to get the fertilizer quite a few things are going to need to happen first. You'll need a way to reach it, and a way to ensure you have the skill neccessary to do so successfully. And just to clue you in on a few things, you won't be able to do so until you help quite a few other people. One of the tasks you can do early on in the game is head to the art room and see what you can do for them, but you'll still need quite a few more things to make that happen.

A lot of tasks require quite a few events and items to complete them, I'd advise talking to everyone and searching everywhere on campus, maybe even making a map, then looking at your inventory and how you could put it to use.
