Fantasy Quest 2 that giraffe!!!! I'm stuck!!!!

My inventory is: 16 onions- sack- small silver coin- silver key- crown of destiny- float ring- sap tap- bucket of sap- bottle opener- cross- pliers- iron support- red potion- green potion- sword- rusty key- goo
I have gone to the place where I have to use the goo. I have made my way through the cave to where the giraffe is. I have a pretty good idea on how to get around in the cave. I have taunted the giraffe NE into the cave and have spent hours trying to get rid of him. I keep coming back to where my only options are to go back NE into the cave. I keep doing it over and over and over. I'm ready to fling my computer across the room. I am really stuck!!!! Can't go anywhere else but NE into cave or I die!!! Please Please give me a better clue than those you have posted in the past. Help!!!!!!!
