ESM VS. POA

Ok, my goal is to complete each of these Adventure Games. However, I am not very good at them, so in order to make it easier on myself, I have played them in order of difficulty. I have completed the Trainer, Mystery at Brackley Hall, Fantasy Quest, Fantasy Quest II, Outlaws of the Sierra Nevadas, Trail of Anguish, and Game of the Ages. I now have left Perils of Akumos and Escape From St. Mary's.

And now I want your guys' opinion. Which game should I play first? They are both of the same difficulty, so I don't know what to choose. I'd like your guys' opinion. Of all you people who have already played and completed the two games, which one would you recommend playing first? I want your opinions, people! :-) Don't be afraid to let me have it! ;-)
