Actually, I'd be rather interested in seeing the engine that runs AGL myself. It's quite fast, and seems to be very well done.

This obviously comes from some sort of social deficiency on your part. You simply haven't watched enough television and movies. Some of us have had any sort of moral indignation slowly sucked out via years of exposure to pop culture.

I think you greatly underestimate DotA. The thing I liked about it was that there was no "quest" that they were on, rather they were fighting each other. It was the constantly escalating conflict that made it interesting. You don't see something like that too often (especially told from both sides) and there were tons of throwaway jokes and references that made the whole thing worthwhile. I read it all, and enjoyed every page (though I do agree it drags a bit in the middle). The ending(s) are both clever.
