St. Mary's- Cold?

Okay, I think I know who to give a certain item from the male faculty room to, but every time I try to give it to the person, they say that it's cold. I've tried doing different things to heat it up, but by the time I get to that person, the item is cold again. Can someone lend me a hand? I tried to leave as much as possible out to avoid any possible spoilers.
