MV level 1 - HELP! SPOILERS....

Down to the last level & it's driving me crazy!! I've got 8 red parties left to kill, but I keep getting STOMPED by the first group where you need the tunnel rock. I've tried using homing stones to bring in new monsters, I've tried different combinations of monsters, I've explored as much as I can, to try to find something to help me, but each time, regardless of what I try, I die! One hit & ka-pow! Please, if someone can at least lead me in the right direction, it would be HUGELY appreciated, I'm getting a little tired of committing suicide in there.... :)
