What are scripts? I keep getting a message that says an error has occurred in scripts, and do I wish to continue running scripts on that page.

I used to click "No," but that meant start-over time, so I decided to click "yes," and everything continued as normal.

What is that all about? What is the error? Who made the error? Do I have to fix it, and if so, how?
