I would want to have the power to read people's minds. And be emphathetic like Deanna Troi. And definitely be able to turn the power OFF. Combine that with the powers of LetterMan, wrap it in a Catwoman suit (without the ears and tail, I think), sprinkle it with intuitiveness about people, and that would be the perfect superhero for me to be.
