As I have said time and time before, you NEVER have to start over at the crypt. You NEVER need items from previous levels to get anywhere on the current one.

I looked at your saved game, and I honestly can't figure out why you're stuck. You can go in one of two directions. One direction has a red party between four magic fields. Have you tried confronting that party? The other direction has a room full of blues and a moving wall. Have you tried anything there?
