Wait. If you have the magic stone, the pass ring AND the jeweled dagger... why won't the game let you into the castle that the cat was guarding?

The only reason you'd be asking where the float ring is would be if you hadn't investigated the castle - and since you have everything you need to get in and have flattened the cat, I can't imagine why you wouldn't have searched the castle that hairball was guarding yet. You should be able to go right in and search the place multiple times by now.

Is this a bug? Can you get past the drawbridge? You should be able to get in.
