Not simply. I love Jelly Bellies (except that horrid Popcorn flavor and maybe one or two others I can't recall), but, in general, hate jelly beans. Jelly Bellies have a sharper, truer taste, better texture, and have flavoring on both the inside AND the coating, whereas most jelly beans and other candies only put flavor on the outside.

You make a good point, though -- Jelly Belly makes some pretty outrageous and tasty flavors.
