It's great. Within 2 1/2 hours of posting that chat transcript about why the forum is dead, there are four thoughtful, detailed, eloquent posts that offer alternative perspectives about why the forum is dead. Hopefully there will be more, but if not, I think we have still established that the forum is more dormant than dead.

Perhaps the issue is simply that more of us are inclined to continue discussions rather than start them.
