Interesting poll question. I don't think I ever personally had anything repossessed, but my father did. He bought a used car, a '39 Nash in 1949. I think it was about $150, which was more money than it sounds like now. Anyway, he spread the payments out over six months. It didn't take long to find out that it was a clunker, so he declined to make anymore payments. The dealer came and towed it away. The dealer carried the note in those days. No bank involved.

Now than I think of it, I have a few relatives that seem to be possessed, but as far as I know, none of them have ever been repossessed.
