But he is good at making money. Even bad actors get rich these days. Don't ask me to explain it.

Actors aren't the only ones. I know of race car drivers who have raced for years and have yet to win a race, but they become millionaires. They live in 18 room houses, have a private jet and a motor home, and send their kids to expensive schools. In the off season, they take lavish vacations.

Like actors, they are in an entertainment industry that pays very well. They earn more when they get on TV talk shows and make personal appearences. In some races, the last place finisher earns thousands of dollars. Prize money is usually split with the car owner, but it's still a bundle. Drivers in the top twenty often earn more that my annual income in a single race. Sometimes many times more.

Still, there are athletes who make more than race car drivers, simply by throwing a ball around. Yes, they do that very well, but I think they are a little over paid. Supply and demand, I guess.

I wonder where Keanu is on the pay per picture scale. Probably well below Julia Roberts, but still big money.
