Quest of Kael - need fake ID for blue jewel

Ok, so I found the blue jewel at the "end" of the now not-so-unending passage in the cave. I try to take it, but there is a "strange force" that seems to function as a bouncer. Unfortunately, since I do not happen to be a wizard, it won't let me in. What do I need to find and show to be able to take it? Help!

Inventory:

A Rusty Sword
An Open Oyster
A Hook
A Magic Wand
A Lighter

A Short Knife
A Strong Rope
A Magic Book
A Candle
