Let's see...

1) Find a hex-editing program and open the file from that.

2) Go to Notepad, and open... put *.* into the search bar, go to the directory you want and open the file. It may not be in the best shape, but it should work.

3) There are probably a thousand password crackers on the internet. Go to Metacrawler or Google and search around. I think warforge.com has password crackers.

ONE of these should work.
