I'm currently writing a research paper on Jane Austen's "Emma", where I "become" Jane Austen and write the paper with the purpose of agreeing/disagreeing with certain views that have been put forth in critical essays (the time periods of which don't matter, they could be from the 1800's or yesterday). The only problem is, I can't find any essays for some reason. I've checked my local library and school library, and found one book over "Pride and Prejudice". If anyone knows where I can find single/collected critical essays, preferably on irony or the character of Emma, could you post the sites/books here? Thanks in advance.
