ok. if you really haven't already had Indian skirmish, you ARE missing something. so, WAY back, did you never talk to the old geezers outside the general store ? You can learn/get something from then. then do the looong horseback ride again,resting wherever possible.
This was kind of a tricky one to catch, cause once you use the item, you won't have it in inventory, so I went with assumption you had already done that part. maybe this time, we'll get you on your way !
