No idea where to go

This is my inventory:

1 gold coin
9 red gemstones
4 black gemstones
life preserver

guard's sword
stone of strengthening
food rations
bucket

rope
tinderbox
key of opening
portrait
clear focus stone
crate

I can't find anything else to do. Nobody is in their houses or will talk to me. Any spoilers are welcome.
