cart-Verna Pass card help!!

Can somebody tell me the route to catching the cart the second time? Please email me, I'll really appreciate it.
I enter the white cave, go SE, then W to yellow cave where I go north to red cave. I can hear the cart still. Here, I can go E, SE or S. bothE and SE lead to black caverns. These are the only black caverns I have found. where am I going wrong? Help will be deeply appreciated. Thanks!
