hello, all, really stuck and will prob kick myself

inventory:

20 bronze
9 red
1 black
guard sword
stone of strengh
food
rope
tinderbox
sticks
string
wire clippers
clear focus stone
blanket
trash
map
ring picture from banq. hall

cant get the hammer
have met the gwiles

please help and advise if anyone can
thank you
