No.

I rather doubt it. I expect they're too busy trying to figure out what the deal is with a federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. Most of the Founders were nowhere near as sensitive about governmental endorsement of religion as many people are today.

That doesn't mean that we should approve of governments that endorse religion, but I don't think you can make a very sound appeal to the Founders to make your case.
