Back in the day, when I was applying for college, I sent out my applications late. The letter from the University of Illinois informed me that the College of Architecture had already accepted all the incoming freshmen for the next year, but I was able to choose from any of the other colleges on the next page with the stipulation that I must major in that field for two full years before I could change majors. The only school that was open to new students? Dance.

So I went to Texas A&M.
