This looks like it's fixed? Until yesterday, the matches were actually fought at 10 AM EET (not EEST as I incorrectly stated above), after which followed one hour of the counter saying that the next match will be fought in one hour. After that hour the counter restarted from 24 hours without a new match being fought.
Now it's working like in the previous games, where the matches are fought at 11 AM EET, and the counter tracks time remaining correctly.
I think this was a problem with the code not realising the server had switched from daylight savings time to normal time.
