Tomorrow we are going to drive to Chattanooga and board a river boat for a half-day cruise, lunch included. I think it is a paddle wheeler, but my sister made the reservations and I'm not sure. She and her husband are meeting us at the dock.

I have cruised other portions of the Tennessee River before, and I expect a beautiful boat ride. It's going to be cool early in the day, but should warm up quickly. The fall colors have not been so great this year, but maybe they will look better from the river.

Speaking of fall colors, I have seen them in several southern states this fall and have been disappointed, so I am wondering how they look in other regions. How are the colors where you live?
