TOA: Stuck on Saturday Evening (Gremlinn Help)

Can someone please help me out?
I am completely stuck on Saturday
Evening. I have the nerds in the tunnel but have no ladder. Verna and Silus are in the shack. I have eaten the rotten sandwich. I completed all my tasks but everything is closed now so I can't report back to anyone. I made a phone call to Kenneth. I have been all over the place and have examined the area everywhere.
I have even talked to Chris and he invited me to dinner but I told him it is late, maybe tomorrow?
Please help me with what I should do next.
