You mean you haven't found yourself in a crowded corridor, with the urge to do something incredibly stupid? Seriously -- try that and see. I don't know what you have in your inventory (wish you had posted it) -- have you checked the shuttle that brought you here? I think you also need something from there.
In this game, half the time the dumbest move is the right move. That's part of what makes POA so entertaining.
The other question -- you still have a way to go before you get a chance at that safe.
