If you want to support RinkWorks in exchange for any pleasure you might have derived from it, that's why you'd subscribe. If not, that's absolutely fine. That's why I have advertising. You're still supporting the site by viewing pages with ads on it. Subscriptions are for people that want to take another step.

Am I supporting the site by viewing pages with ads on, even if I can't see the ads? I can still see the banners but my browser suppresses the pop-ups.

> * My point about your post equating to requesting subscriber-only features was not "some" vs. "all" but "none" vs. "any." If you're not keen on subscribing, why did you go out of your way to post something that effectively works as an encouragement for me to stop making free features for RinkWorks? There's nothing wrong with this, but it's odd, to say the least, for someone reluctant to subscribe to want me to put subscription-only features up.

I think I have been tactless, or at least worded my message wrong. Whether you make or don't make free features is your choice, and I'll go along either way.
What I want to say is that if you want to make new subscriber-only features, go ahead.

A fair cop. That was totally my fault. I should have said "next feature using the Murkon's Refuge engine" instead of "sequel to Murkon's Refuge".
Sorry about that.
