> i just got done with the secret area (fun!). i went around in Lygamllyn (whatever) i visted the gwuills (who don't have much to say) i visted the blacksmith (who could only make me a sword and/or armour) and i've talked to everyone i can find in the town. i already swam around for coins, listened for one, and worked in the tavern. i can't buy the horse. drat. and i've figured out what to do with the kitchen, but i haven't heard about the ring yet to get the items to switch the portraits.

go back to the tavern. talk to the man and think over what he tells u several times until u come to the conclusion of what u must do. one other thing-I don't see the crate or rope on your inventory. Keep these w/ u at all times. things just don't seem to happen without them and u do use them a lot.
