For the record, here are the facts of life.
Things don't ever turn out exactly the way you expected.
Everybody snores.
Trusting people are more likely to get taken.
Even Murphy was subject to Murphy's Law.
No matter how good the directions, somebody will manage to get lost.
Two out of three students change their major at least once.
You will never get caught up on those little things that you need to do. If you even get
close, you lead a very boring life.
If you haven't lost interest in something that used to be a passion, you may be in a rut.
If you haven't taken an interest is something new within the last year, you may be in a deep rut.
If you brag on your car, it will konk out.
If you wash and wax your car, change the oil and fill it up with gas, it is more likely to be wrecked than if you left it grungy.
If someone says, "I know what I'm doing," odds are that he/she doesn't.
If someone says, "It's perfectly safe," prepare for a loud noise.
If you hold a baby over your head, something awful will happen.
If you reel in and head for home because the fish aren't biting, the guy who moves into your spot will catch a big one before you are out of sight.
As you get older, you get smarter. As your father gets older, he gets dumber. His father is a really cool old guy.
"I don't explain 'em. I just tell 'em." -- Red Skelton.
How"did life get to be so h"ard?
