Here's a suggestion, though. One thing Dave and I have learned, more or less by trial and error, is that punctuation can make a huge difference. It's almost never better to use an exclamation mark when a period can be used -- it establishes a less emotional, more mechanical tone. For example:

Ah. Ah. Ah. Ah. Staying alive. Staying alive.

...goes a long way toward taking the enthusiasm right out of it. :-)

Nah. Somewhat to my surprise, Dave and I have been able to churn out a total of 184 BAMs and MAMs so far. If we were going to run out of ideas, we'd have done it already. The exciting thing about it is that each work presents unique opportunities for condensation.
