Stuck in tower FQ2

I must be doing something wrong because I can't get out. I have:

You're Carrying:

1 Gold Coin
Silver Key
Bucket of Sea Water
Pliers
Sword

4 Onions
Crown of Destiny
Bottle Opener
Iron Support
Sunstone

Sack
Float Ring
Cross
Red Potion

Small Silver Coin
Sap Tap
Coconut
Green Potion

I have done all that can be done in the tower and I am now back to the bottom and cannot get out. I am doing the examine-touch thing but the only place I get to is back to the second floor. Please help!
