Yet another FQ1 coin question

Okay, I seem to have found three of the four coins. I *think* the one I haven't found is the one you get from the shopkeeper as change. Can I get a hint on how to get that coin?
Of course, I may be wrong. It might be a different coin entirely I'm missing. At the moment, I'm sitting on the top floor of the tower staring at all the treasure (I've figured out how to get down from there, but I'm not sure if there's something I'm supposed to be finding).
I also haven't figured out what to do about the guardian in the garden castle.
