goa how to enter kitchen??

I've been running around the castle like, few dozen times, but I still can't get into the kitchen!! I have the option to take wyrgna's pic and replace with mine, but I can't get anywhere without the servants stopping me. Do I need to tie my rope to the battlement or get in from the windows near the other side of the moat? Also, I don't know where to find the 14 more bronze for my horse.
