FQ2 Argh! no where to go!

My inventory thus far:

17 Onions
Small Silver Coin
Float Ring
Pliers
2 Tree Branches
Silver Key
Sap Tap
Iron Support
Sack
Nail
Bucket of Sea Water
I crashed the tractor a while back without even realizing it. Now it's broken. I did all the other stuff, but have yet to:
help the clown
pass the cyclops
go over either of the gates
kill the roc
go north from the "feline"

can anyone offer any suggestions?
