A Follow-Up Plea For Help From Whacko: I have heeded your advice (thanks for it!), but I still can't get into the library! Whenever I try to enter, the guard gets there first, says "Gosh Darnit" (he'd be more profane in real life), and doesn't let me in! Whenever I run away from the guard to the west, I hide. Is this taking up too much valuable time?

Anything (even the dead fish from GOA) would be appreciated right now.
