FQ2 help please.

I'm just completely and utterly... stuck!
I happened to find the following stuff: 9 Onions, 2 Tree Branches, Sack, Small Silver Coin, Silver Key, Float Ring, Sap Tap, Bucket of Sap, Fishing Net, Coconut, Blue Rubber Ball, and Iron Support.

I have not gotten past the lion or the cyclopse. I haven't been in any castle or tower. And I didn't do anything with the bucket of water, I was just so excited that i finally found a sap tap that I wanted sap instead of water! Well... help! Pre-thanks!!
