I started it about a year ago and just lost interest in it. I agree with you about the rat in TOA. I think that trying to get the jock to admit his fear was just as hard though. I do disagree with you on GOA and FQ2 (but everyone is entitled to their opinion...what I find hard someone else may find really easy). In the first time I played GOA, I found Pheicryn to be the hardest of all. But that makes sense to me since as a game designer, you want the hardest monster at the end. In the first time I played FQ2, I thought that one of the hardest things was just trying to find all 10 of those stupid gold coins. The monster I thought was hardest was the vampiress. The giraffe would have been hard to if I didn't already read how to deal with it before I got there. > > > > ~x~Band-"Maybe I should play POA..."Aids~x~ > > for me, freeing the princess in FQ1 was a totally frustrating, hair-pulling time !! > POA, I could have never gotten through w/o lots of help & reading the posts. to finish that game felt like a real accomplishment !! not any one area....every area. a really tricky, challenging game > go for it, Bandaids !! :)
I second that. I couldn't have gotten through without help, but even so, beating it was an accomplishment.
For me, here are the hardest parts of each game I played.
FQ1: Getting rid of the cat, I think... BH: That blasted maze. End of story. FQ2: The giraffe. Hands down. I did figure it out on my own, but it still drove me bonkers. POA: Escaping the Izacladia base. Took me FOREVER to find something to subdue Sylvester with, get both of their attention in turn, and then Jean-Claude... gah! TOA: A lot of things are tied for me on this one. I have yet to play it to have to deal with the rat or the bombs, though. GOA: Pheicryn. It was SO satisfying when I made her go splat finally...
