Not in Larosis. Reiterating what Dingbat said: "You now need to go back to the portal and go to the third world."
At the moment, there's really only one guy to talk to there, and you're gonna have to fight a couple things to get to him. Since you haven't expressed any frustration with battling a certain creature yet, I assume you're still wandering around Larosis. Get out of town and go back to the portal.
