this will probably be very little help. I've lost my notes for TOA & played it a long time ago. so just a scatter effect of ideas. have you taken Verna & Silas for a ride yet ? eaten a meal ? found a coin at the church so you can make a phone call ? are you wearing the red dress & that's why it isn't in your inventory ? hope this will give you some ideas.
