Remember them for your review. If they're faults with the game, I can try to avoid them in "The Game of the Ages." If they're faults with the engine, probably not, but I could probably fix small things with that, too.

Good. Writing those two games has been very fulfilling for me, and I guarantee you I'll be writing more. I haven't decided what the next game will be yet, but after the next couple "text" features, I'll probably write another.

> I absolutely can not wait for Game of the Ages. Will it have all the great Princess Bride references?

Alas, probably not. I'm going for a more serious tone with the game and want to concentrate on building characters and establishing atmosphere -- which would be undermined by the plethora of comic allusions Duel has. But I'm sure I'll throw one or two in just for form's sake.

> Oh, by the way: does anyone know of anywhere else on the web that has done this?

Just yesterday I looked around for sites that did that. The best I could do was Yahoo's "Web Games:Interactive Fiction" category (sorry, I don't remember the exact path). I haven't had time to explore the sites in that category and its subcategories, though. A few of the sites seemed to be "adventurish," and the *original* "Adventure" has its own category (of sites containing different web-based ports, most probably involving Java). And there was an entire "Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror" subcategory. The problem is that "Interactive Fiction" is much broader than "Adventure Games" so I/you will have to do a little more exploring.
