> i don't *think* there is a limit on WC. On my one-character party, my assassin had a WC upwards of 70, hitting for around 5 or 6K damage. When his WC was 50, he was hitting for around 4K. Also, an increase in WC denotes an increase in a value (damage inflicted on monsters), so that number can go up indefinitely. On the other hand, an increase in AC denotes an *decrease* in a value (the accuracy of monsters attacking your party). So, unless the monsters are to be hitting negative times, logic follows that AC should cap out at some point. WC, however, should not have a "cap-out point," since damage inflicted on monsters could theoretically go on to infinity. Furthermore, on a more practical note, if WC *were* to have a "cap-out point," then that point would almost ceratainly have already been discussed on this forum
Okay. My assassin is just getting to the 3K range. I was mainly wondering how much more impressed I could be. Now I can sit back and enjoy watching level 10 monsters get pulverized. If I changed the assassin's weapon from the samurai sword to the blade of power I'd probably inflict even more damage, but my knight needs it more. I have only ever found one of those, and it was in the shop at Lyesis.

No complaints there, since the folks at Teralt really liked the spare. I have also found a second one of that allegedly rarest of items (a certain rod). My rarest items, at least that I know about, are now the aforementioned blade of power and the broken item/empty stone.
