Therefore I also can't get to the non-public section of level 9. Also can't find the other half of whatever I need to get to 10. (Yes I did find the chute).

There is one solution to all of your problems...finding that object of level 7. But did you notice something about the locked door on level 8? It was a bronze color. So what you are looking for is the bronze key. It's in the south east area of level 7 (Hint: the first number is in the early 20's. The second number is in the mid 10's. That is the exact place of where it is). Once you get it, you'll be able to go on to the level 9 private are via level 8. The Leviathan is on the level 9 private side, and through trial and error (hopefully you'll get it first try), you'll find out exactly where he is (Hint: Try the South west area of level 9 first when looking for him).

Maybe she kicks them in the shins to make them drop to their knees. Then she stabs them when they are in her reach. Wait until she can do 9 in one turn.

Oh no children! Cover your eyes! The Troll's not covered all the way!!

Teleport is completely ramdom, except that you can't teleport into areas in which you need an object to get into (ex. private area of level 9). Sam did a good job when he designed the game. And it's impossible to land on walls. It's just designed that way.

Good luck!
