Stuck at beginning of GOAT with well "Spoilers if needed"

I have tried to find the "something else" that is in the well at the beginning of the game, but i still have come up clueless. Also, I have 384 silver coins of wealth, 1 short for a weapon. I have heard that the extra coins is in your house, but i can't find the stupid thing! Please Help!
