Here's my personal checklist, with some comments:

1 - haven't done it, and it only seems practicable with a Druid with AC 65. Druids can't use such great weapons.
2 - my most recent game. Victoria, Ex, Nihilo retired having never equipped a single item or used a wand.
3 - haven't done it. I presume the challenge is cash flow, and you get so ridiculously little cash without selling stuff that I wouldn't even try.
4 - haven't done it, but it's been done. Someone retrained a character in Teralt, and went off to kill Murkon. Look for a single level 30 character in the Hall of Fame.
5 - I don't think I'd like to parry 10 rounds right at the beginning, with 12 HP. Sounds time consuming too.
6 - I think I came really close on my first game, though I hadn't yet discovered some of the pools on level 10. Shouldn't be too hard.
7 - impossible, you'd never exceed 12 HP and you'd have minimal poison/fire/cold resistance. It's literally impossible to ever wipe out six groups of breathers before they breathe once and annihilate your party.
8 - been there, done that, and I wasn't the first. This is just a time waster, really. Doesn't change the game in a fundamental way.
9 - I wouldn't try it. You'd be doing fine till some poor character gets crit hit by a trap on level 10. I've been crit hit by traps on level 10, and I'd hate to have to start over because of it.
10 - Someone has decided to play a game allocating all free points to useless attributes. I consider that roughly equivalent. All it does is slow the game down, not really change it.
11 - Done and done. I've done one character with no magic, and I've done one character with no weapons. I wasn't the first to do one character either.
12 - impossible for the same reason as 7, inter alia.
13 - never bothered to try, but it couldn't be that tough.
14 - this one is ill-defined. What's as much as possible? It's impossible to beat the game without leveling up, so you have to fight someone. How high is the minimum you have to level up?
15 - I never found fear-inducing spells all that useful. Of course, I never found Druids all that useful, and that's just what inspired me to beat the game with a lone Druidess. Later in the game, this just becomes regular MR.

Since I have 18 characters in retirement, I won't be playing anymore. Others are free to meet these challenges as they see fit.

Maybe it's just me, but number 8 seems impossible. If you didn't use the inns, you would never level up. One blast from a fire dragon and your whole party is dragon food. You could never get your spell points back once you use them up. But it's probably just me because I'm probably misunderstanding it. What does everyone else think?

> Number 8 is actually beating the game with only being in Perinn. If you're talking about number 7, then haven't people beaten the game at level 0 anyways? In that case, it would just be a matter of doing that without assassins or druids. And as for magic, havent people beaten the game without using magic, either? I admit, it's very hard to do, and I could never even come close. But someone like commie_bat could have a pretty good shot at it. Oh, and I also thought of a few more challenges. They're at the end of the list.
