There must be a solution.

I thought we would never get rid of those sales calls that always come in the middle of supper. But then the Tennessee legislature passed a law that requires telemarketers to purchase a "don't call list" of people in Tennessee who have signed up. They even provided penalities for violaters. The calls stopped cold. I have had only one in about three years and as soon as I mentioned that I was on the Tennessee don't call list, they connected me to a supervisor who apologized profusely. That one was only a few weeks after the law went into effect.

I wonder if such a law could apply to spam?
