FQ: Stuck and need help.

I've just finished TOA last night and now I'm playing Fantasy Quest. I'm stuck and need help. Here's the deal:

I can't get in to the Tower, the south castle, or the north castle. I've given four gold coins to the soothsayer. But I hear people talking about five, so I may need to find another one. I lost my sword in a battle against some monster, and I don't know if I can get it back, or if I can, where. I hear people talking about a jeweled dagar but I haven't found it anywhere. I can't kill the troll that's blocking the bridge, although it could be that you don't have to. Could someone please give me a nudge in the right direction because I'm stuck and don't know what to do next. Here's my inventory:

Hook
Branch
Silver Key
Gold Key
Shovel
Hammer
Nails
Bow
Arrow
Fishing Pole
Club
Ticket
Pass Ring
Sunstone
Leaves

I also heard something about feeding/giving someone the leaves but I don't know who, or how to get to them.
