Yes. Yes oh yes oh yes. I often get *really* upset when I can't indicate sarcasm in a written message. But then I end up feeling badly, because I realize that as a writer, I shouldn't *need* emoticons to express emotions in my writing. Then I get more upset, because sometimes I *do* need them :-)
