Having had a new nephew born this morning, i'm almost tempted to try out the baby thing, but i love my niece and nephews to much to go there, even in jest.

I love superstition. Through about half the rehearsals for A Christmas Carol last fall, i read Macbeth backstage, and some of the cast were bold enough to carry on conversations with me about the accursed "Scottish Play." Nobody died or was injured much in Carol (nothing past ordinary stuff), two actresses were nominated for Irene Ryan awards (that's national collegiate competion), and the lighting and set designs both were nominated for Barbizon awards (with the light designs winning regional). I guess the really superstitious people in the show didn't find out i read and talked about it.
