My plan for my next game, which you may steal if you like, is to attempt to win with the worst possible party. Select characters of gender and race least conducive for the class that you wish to train them as and then take them out to explore the labarynth with no equipment. When you level up, add all the points to the least essential attributes like charisma, wisdom, and IQ for fighters; and charisma, dexterity, and strength for spell casters. I estimate that it will take about 5 years to complete the game with a party of this type.
